Andy came all the way from London today to have his Maori inspired Kirituhi tattoo designed and completed. Andy has an infinity with New Zealand and wanted to have something to connect him with Aotearoa. This was to also cover an older Tattoo which had been laser treated to reduce the pigment.
Not my usual stuff but it is nice to do some different styles of work from time to time.
To cover up the name on the back the client has chosen to go for a large Maori inspired Kirituhi tattoo design. Free handed to wrap the upper body, session one saw us design the work and line the work, next session will see the Polynesian symbols and pattern applied to bring the shapes alive.
Louise wanted a Polynesian inspired design, femanine and free flowing.
Jon's Polynesian inspired Kirituhi tattoo incorporates symbols and pattern work within maine which leads into a Marquesian inspired chest section the cover up an older tattoo.
Chris wanted a half sleeve Maori inspired Kirituhi tattoo that wraps his forearm.
